Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Gainesville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Taylor is the commanding yet gentle presence you want when you have oral/maxillofacial surgery. His bedside manner is second to none, and he exudes humble confidence and incredible knowledge about the procedure he is performing. I went to Dr. Taylor to have my jaw joint fixed. I will see him for all oral surgery needs.

When I saw that Dr. Taylor only had 3/5 stars- my jaw dropped! (And I’m currently recovering from jaw surgery done by Dr Taylor so pun intended?) Anyways- this man deserves ALL FIVE STARS. Here’s why... when going to get dental work done, nonetheless oral surgery and/or maxillofacial procedures done, it can bring fear to the most brave of patients. I have had four major procedures and surgeries done by Dr. Taylor- my most recent was a couple days ago. Despite the stress, pain and seriousness of the surgery, I was at ease ONLY because I was in Dr. Taylor’s hands. He not only is a phenomenal surgeon, doctor and dentist, he is also one of the most knowledgeable and kind medical professional I have ever had as a patient. He truly cares about each one of his patients and treats every case with the utmost effort and professionalism. I have heard from a friend who is a local ER/ OR nurse that works with Dr. Taylor when he is called in to do oral/ maxillofacial trauma surgeries at the Trauma 1 hospital, how he gathers everyone in the OR to hold hands and say a prayer for the success and safety of the patient and their families. He does this with his inpatient procedures at his office as w

Do not make an appointment for a fit in unless you have all day because you will sit there for hours. After my grandmother was referd by the hospital after falling and fracturing her face. She's 88, and was told to see the Dr the next day. They had no opening for two days then it was for 7 am. We sat there for over an hour and a half before leaving because they didn't know when she would be seen. I see fitting in being a little while but an hour and a half is a bit ridiculous.
